Sharp has big news for 2013, literally. Sharp has decided to make 60” the new minimum size for most of its TV ranges, with the biggest TV being a 90 inch mammoth. Sharp says that you can expect improved picture quality, access to streaming services via the new Smart TV platform as well as other new features. Sharp’s 2013 TVs are starting to become available in USA and Europe now.
Sharp will release a range of new TVs in 2013 and you can expect to see large-size TVs that are more affordable than ever. Sharp is focused on bringing large-size TVs into consumers’ homes and their 90 inch TV will reach other regions outside USA for the first time.
Sharp’s 2013 TVs
Sharp’s new 8 series TV not only has Sharp’s most advanced imaging technology and a new Quattron panel but also features the new Smart TV platform. Sharp’s 8 series is available in up to 80 inches.
The new Smart TV platform offers access to internet services, including Netflix, Vudu, Pandora, and many others. There is a built-in web browser and you can download new apps through the app store. Most of the new Smart TVs are run by a new, faster dual-core processor. The smart features and the TVs can also be controlled from your iOS or Android smartphone.
