OK so I've been looking into buying a TV and wanted to buy one which would fit my needs:
HDMI input for Apple TV
HDMI input for cable box
HDMI input for future game console
HDMI input for Blu-ray player
DVI or HDMI input for computer
Component input for Wii
Composite input just for kicks
Digital optical audio out to external speakers (Logitech Z-5500, best purchase ever)
So ideally 1xDVI (but I can live without it) + 4xHDMI + Component + Composite + digital optical audio out
I need the TV to be easily viewable in the daytime because of a lack of blinds on my windows.
Does this rule out plasma TVs? They seem to be dim compared to LCDs...
I'd very much prefer a matte screen instead of a glossy screen because of reflections.
I also like the way Panasonic 2012 TVs like the GT50/VT50 are able to throw the TV picture to a smartphone/tablet with their app.
Do any TVs integrate WiDi yet?
DLNA is a plus too.
So far the only two I found that match most of my criterias are the Panasonic WT50 (but has a glossy screen)
and the Sony HX850 (but has glossy screen and doesn't have an app to watch TV on smartphone)
Can you think of other TVs that match most of these characteristics?
Cheers,
