Rising black levels (post 200 hours) in 2009 Panasonic plasmas have been reported in numerous forums and websites (CNET, Ultimate AV, etc.). It seems that Panasonic's plasmas cannot maintain the deep blacks beyond the initial few hours.

Reviewers are reporting deep blacks based on new panels which, if 2009 is any indication, will also plague the 2010 sets over time.

I have a 54V10 and after a fantastic initial viewing experience, my black levels have fallen (Minolta T-1 light meter ) from 0.009 to 0.012 ftl over the last two weeks, 600 hours on the set. This is a 33% increase in so-called black levels, and is evident on any 2.35:1 movie.

I didn't buy this TV to conduct a science project and neither should anyone else. I based my buying decision on product reviews. Reviewers need to test over a long period before endorsing these products.
