Hi Rasmus . Great review as always ! . Tell me , please , Did you forget to set the Smart Led at low ? , I think It could help to improve the black level in the HU9000 to 0.04 at least or so , but I couldn't see that feature in your calibrated result . Thank U !

Smart LED is not real local dimming. It is just a half-baked system to make up for some of the issues of LCD technology. I did some testing at all three settings for Smart LED and ended up putting it in the Low setting (I don't know why it is not in the calibration table, but I will add it).

Smart LED at low has a minor impact on shadow details, but improves black depth somewhat. I don't particularly like the trade-offs of these systems, but our 0.06 cd/m2 black measurement was reached with Smart LED in the low setting.
