NEC has announced two new professional IPS based monitors. The first is a regular P232W model aimed at photographers and enthusiasts. The other is a SpectraView version of the P232W aimed at professional and discerning graphic artists.
NEC’s new 23-inch P232W
NEC has produced professional monitors for several years and their SpectraView range has always been respected for its high-end capabilities. Just like in the past, NEC is now releasing two variants of their new 23-inch monitor.
NEC launches two new 23-inch P232W monitors
The first is the regular P232W version and the second is the SpectraView (SV) variants with full support for hardware calibration. Both monitors offer an IPS panel with Edge LED backlighting and come with DisplayPort, DVI, HDMI and D-SUB (VGA) inputs. The panel has a 1920x1080 pixel resolution, 8 ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 250 cd/m2 brightness.
The standard version costs $569 and the SpectraView variant $819. The monitors will be available soon.
