Samsung recently introduced their 75-inch ES9000 LED in South Korea and now it is coming to the US. The 75-inch mammoth comes with LED, Smart TV and active 3D technology. The TV will go on sale in August for a price of $9999.

Samsung is launching their most impressive LED model to date. The new ES9000 TV is made from a rose-gold colored finish and has a discreet 0.31 inches (0.79 cm) bezel with no visible seams.
Samsung presents the 75-inch ES9000 Smart TV
The TV is based on a LED backlight with Samsung’s Precision Black Local Dimming technology built-in. Picture quality is processed with the Micro Dimming Ultimate system also found in the ES8000 TV. The combination of the two systems should provide users with a crisp picture and very deep black levels, Samsung says.
The TV naturally comes complete with Samsung’s Smart TV platform, including the Smart Interaction suite for voice and gesture controls, and the Smart Evolution that allowing users to upgrade their Smart TV from year to year with the Smart Evolution Kit, starting from 2013. With ES9000, Samsung also debuts their gesture-based Angry Birds version, enabled by the small camera at the top.

ES9000 will offer Samsung’s largest and most immersive 3D experience, it is said. Samsung continues to support the active 3D system and with ES9000 four active 3D shutter glasses are included in the package.
Samsung UN75ES9000 will be available in August for a price of $9999. An European launch is in the cards but still unconfirmed. If it happens we will likely see the TV at the upcoming IFA 2012 fair in September.
