Samsung and Spotify has big plans. Soon, Spotify Premium users will be able to access the music service from Samsung Smart TVs, Blu-ray players and home theater systems in the E-series.
Spotify comes to Samsung’s Smart TV
Spotify claims to provide access to more than 18 million music tracks and Samsung will be the first Smart TV platform to offer an app. The user interface will be optimized for the TV screen and from here you can access your playlists and listen to unlimited music.
Spotify is coming to Samsung’s Smart TVs in France, Spain, UK, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland and Austria. No words on the US plans yet.
