LG wants to make your videos, photos and music files available across your devices and easily accessible on your living room Smart TV. LG Cloud is now coming to 40 new countries throughout Europe, Asia and Latin America.

LG Cloud is a cloud service from LG that was introduced in USA, South Korea and Russia last year. By the end of May it will be available in 40 new countries and offer 5 GB of free storage for your media files.

- “Today’s consumers are no longer loyal to only one type of screen. They move seamlessly from TVs to PCs to smartphones and it’s up to us to help them get the content they want whenever and wherever they want it. LG is one of very few companies that can offer integration across so many display products.” said Richard Choi, senior vice president of the Smart Business Center at LG Electronics.
LG Cloud can for example hold your vacation photos so you have easy access on your LG Smart TV in the living room. LG is also highlighting its transcoding function that enables you to stream video files from LG Cloud in real-time and seamlessly continue playback if you switch device.
LG Cloud is available from Google Play or the LG Smart World store, as well on PCs. LG does not offer a comprehensive list of the 40 countries included.
