Dell has released a new 20-inch monitor in a combined black and white design. The design is in line with their XPS and Dell Studio systems.
Dell ST2010
The new 20-inch monitor is called ST2010 and has a 16:9 aspect ratio rather than 16:10. The resolution is 1600x900 breaking from the habit of using 1680x1050 resolution. It’s obviously a TN panel and it offers a 5 ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 160/160 viewing angles.

The stand has basic tilt adjustment and on the back you find an HDMI interface along with a D-SUB (VGA) interface.

Dell says that power consumption is up to 25% less than comparable models because of another CCFL backlight using only 2 lamps. The Dell ST2010 is expected to retail around 130 USD.
