HP has a lot of new monitors coming out these days and the line-up is now extended with HP x2301. The 23-inch PC monitor features LED and an ultra slim, futuristic design with input connectors in the stand.

HP recently unveiled the ultrathin L2201x and now HP is releasing the 23-inch monitor called x2301 Micro Thin.

The monitor comes with a futuristic design and a stand with input/output connectors on the back. The monitor cabinet measures just 9.8 millimeters in depth, and HP has wrapped the LCD panel in an aluminum / black glossy bezel.

The slim design is made possible with Edge LED. HP mentions Full HD resolution, 8,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 72% coverage of the NTSC gamut. HP also says that the monitor has a 3 ms (g2g) response time and that it comes with HDMI, DVI and D-SUB (VGA). It is based on a TN panel.

HP x2301 is a Limited Edition model and will be available in the US in mid-June 2011 with a 279 US dollar price tag. No words on availability in Europe.
