By using the internal digital tuners or HDMI feeds the two D7000 and D8000 Smart TVs can stream content over the home network. The first device to support it is Samsung’s Galaxy S II smartphone.
Smart TV a term used for flat panel TVs with internet and home network access. Smart TVs also feature video-on-demand services, YouTube and much more. FlatpanelsHD examined Samsung’s Smart TV offering in the Samsung D8000 review here.
With the Smart View application you can also use your smartphone as a remote control device. If you have a lower-end TV you can download the Samsung Remote App that also acts as a remote control App.
