Sony has opened a new 3D Experience on-demand service on their Bravia Internet Video enabled TVs. With the new internet service users can watch small video clips and trailers in 3D.
Sony 3D Experience
Samsung released their Explore 3D App a few months ago and now Sony has something similar online. With Sony’s new 3D Experience service buyers of Sony TVs with Bravia Internet Video can now get a foretaste of what to expect from 3D.

The 3D Explore on-demand service is available now for users in USA, UK, Germany, France and Canada. Sony plans to open the service in smaller countries soon.
The free 3D Experience service will provide access to movie trailers, music, sports and documentaries – everything in 3D. The service will act as a showcase channel for 3D content and no full-length movies are available. Sony recommends an internet connection of at least 10 Mbit/s.
Sony has not revealed any plans to offer paid content but if they choose to do so it will probably happen inside their Qriocity platform. If you have a Sony internet-enabled TV try out the service yourself today.
