Vizio CinemaWide TVs from March
Vizio introduced new 50, 58 and 71-inch CinemaWide Theatre 3DTVs at CES 2012. The first TV to arrive is the 58-inch variant.

The extra wide 21:9 format was first introduced by Philips and Vizio is the second supporter of the cinema format. Most movies are shot in a format much wider than traditional 16:9 – very close to 21:9 - which means that owners of 21:9 format TVs can avoid black bars at the top and bottom.
Vizio’s CinemaWide TVs also incorporate passive 3D and the internet Apps platform.
The 58-inch model will be available from March 2012 for $3,499. Learn more about Vizio’s CinemaWide TVs here.
