In 2010, Bose launched their first TV and here comes the successor, dubbed VideoWave II. Bose says that the product is a complete video and home theater sound system. Prices start at 4,999 USD.

Bose is known from their sound solutions but they want to have a larger role in your living room. Therefore, Bose launches a new video and sound product, where you can select either a 46-inch or 55-inch screen size.

The TV is made from aluminum and has an external media box that allows users to connect cables. Bose has also included a small iPhone dock for listening to music without having to turn on the TV screen. The ClickPad remote control is based on radio waves instead of infrared, which improves the signal and allows you to hide the media box. 4 HDMI inputs are located in the box for connecting other electronics devices.

The TV comes in 46 and 55 inch sizes and is based on a LCD panel with backlit LED. However, no local dimming solution has been enabled. The display uses Full HD resolution.

The sound system is integrated on the back side of the TV frame and described as a built-in soundbar with imitated cinema sound. The speaker system consists of 16 speakers, including 6 woofers. Bose also mentions that their so-called ADAPTiQ system optimizes sound based on the room size and shape.

Bose Wave Vision II is now available in the US and will be available in Europe by August. For US prices see the
46” version and the 55” version here.
