HP has released a new monitor to support the coming PC sales surge driven by Windows 8. The most remarkable feature of the 24-inch x2410 monitor is the extremely slim cabinet. Users can also mount the monitor to the wall.

HP has integrated a Full HD panel based on MVA panel technology with edge LED backlighting. The panel should provide deep blacks, vivid colors and mediocre response time. Input connectivity includes DisplayPort and HDMI that allows users to connect more than just a PC.

HP x2401 will be available in November for $249 USD. A business version will be available with extended warranty under the name L2401x.
