In a historical perspective, the flat panel TV is still a relatively new thing, even though most of us own one or maybe even a few. But how did our TVs look 5 years ago? In a series of galleries FlatpanelsHD takes a look at 5 years of TV design by every major TV maker. Last time we featured Loewe. Today we look at Bang & Olufsen.

B&O: 5 years of television design
Bang & Olufsen has been in the electronics business for many, many years and has created some iconic products. Once Bang & Olufsen made its money in the mainstream segment but in recent years they have moved into the high-end segment. When most people think of B&O they think luxury wares.
We could obviously start before 2008 but even during the last 5 years you will see how B&O’s TV products have changed, with iconic TVs such as the BeoVision 10.
5 years of B&O TV design. Here you see the BeoVision 11
Over the last five years we have also seen a 103-inch TV, a gold TV, the first 3DTV and the first Smart TV from Danish Bang & Olufsen. BeoVision 11 is the most recent addition but the first TV in the B&O Play line was also introduced in 2012. Enough talk, jump inside to see – and read – more.
