The first high-end TV from Panasonic's 2015 line-up has landed on our test bench. CX850 in the US and CX800 in Europe is an Ultra HD TV with support for HDR (high dynamic range). It also comes with Firefox OS. If there is anything you want us to examine during the review post a comment.
Panasonic CX800 / CX850 received
The flagship model for 2015 so far. It offers Ultra HD resolution and support for HDR (high dynamic range). Be aware that the TV is called CX850 in the US and CX800 in Europe, Confusingly, there is also a CX800 in the US but this is a very different TV without HDR. Panasonic’s new TV can also reproducie 98% of the DCI P3 color space used in cinemas that is wider than the regular BT.709 color space on “normal” Ultra HD TVs. It comes with Firefox OS built-in, including HEVC and VP9 decoding.
