Apple TV+ streaming service

Earlier this year, Apple unveiled its video streaming service as Apple TV+. However, it omitted many details including launch date and monthly subscription price. At today's event, the company confirmed that Apple TV+ will launch on November 1 in over 100 countries. At launch, viewers can enjoy TV series such as The Morning Show, Dickinson, See, For All Mankind and The Elephant Queen. More titles will be added over the coming months. We have included all confirmed titles in the table at the end. - "With Apple TV+, we are presenting all-original stories from the best, brightest and most creative minds, and we know viewers will find their new favorite show or movie on our service," said Zack Van Amburg, Apple’s head of Worldwide Video. "Each Apple TV+ original offers its own unique story, fresh perspective and powerful message — all meant to entertain, connect and inspire cultural conversations." Apple TV+ will be accessible via the Apple TV app on Apple TV, iOS, Mac and other platforms, including select Smart TVs from LG, Samsung, and Sony as well as Roku and FireTV. It will also be accessible via web browsers through tv.apple.com. The app supports notifications for new episodes, which may prove useful. Apple confirmed that it will not follow Netflix's example. It will typically release the first 3 episodes on premiere day and then new episodes weekly. However, there will be exceptions as some shows will be available to "binge-watch" on premiere day.

5 dollars per month

Bloomberg recently reported that Apple had been contemplating a $10 per month subscription price, making it considerably more expensive than Disney+. That did not happen. Apple TV+ will cost 5 dollars per month. Pricing details for Europe and other regions have yet to be confirmed. A subscription to Apple TV+ can be shared with up to six family members. Content will be available to stream and download, and the service will be ad-free. Apple TV+ originals will be dubbed in nearly 40 languages, including subtitles for deaf and hard-of-hearing. Apple confirmed that its original content will be available to stream in up to 4K HDR picture quality as well as Dolby Atmos audio. Apple TV+ will launch on November 1 in over 100 countries and regions. There is a 7 day trial after which a subscription plan will cost $5 per month (5 Euro per month in Europe). Customers who purchase any new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac or iPod Touch starting September 10 can enjoy one year of Apple TV+ for free. The offer will apply to all launch regions and all sales channels, the company said.
