Apple is again extending free trials for Apple TV+, this time to July 2021, as it tries to ramp up its content offering (via 9to5Mac).
Apple TV+ free trials
If your 1-year free Apple TV+ trial was set to expire between now and June 2021, it will be extended. It was originally set to expire in November 2020 but was later extended to February 2021. It has now been further extended to July 2021.
Paying customers with annual subscriptions set to expire between February and June 2021 will also be credited $5 per month (or the monthly Apple TV+ subscription price in your region), according to the report.
Eligible users should receive email notifications over the course of the next few weeks.
Second season premieres
The extension suggests that Apple TV+ is struggling to get off the ground. Unlike other streaming services, Apple is offering only new, original content, without a library of catalog titles.

In the coming weeks and months, Apple TV+ will premiere second seasons of some of its first TV shows, including the second season of For All Mankind (trailer below) that will premiere on February 19, 2021.
