With the launch of JZ1500, Panasonic is making the brighter OLED panel more affordable. JZ1500 has the same picture technology as the flagship JZ2000 but a less capable sound system.
Best picture, lower price
Panasonic's 2000 series is our current Reference TV partly due to its modified and brighter OLED panel, which Panasonic has dubbed 'Professional Edition'.
For the first time, the improved OLED panel comes to a more affordable model from Panasonic. JZ1500 features the same panel and video technology as JZ2000 but lacks the latter's built-in Dolby Atmos sound system.
If you already own a capable sound system – or just want a different one – you can save up to 700 Euro (or up to 300 UK pounds), depending on your region, by buying the 55- or 65-inch JZ1500 instead of the JZ2000 equivalent. Note that JZ1500 also exists in 48 inches without the modified OLED panel.

JZ1500 will compete with high-end OLED TVs from the likes of LG and Sony. It offers features such as 4K resolution, HDMI 2.1 ports (some features will require a firmware update), multi-HDR support (HDR10, HDR10+, HLG, Dolby Vision), and My Home Screen with access to apps – now also Disney+.
The original plan was to launch JZ1500 in August but it got delayed. It is rolling out now in Europe.
