The world’s most expensive TV is 55 inches

|

B&O’s gigantic 103-inch BeoVision 4-103 is a candidate to the world’s largest and most expensive TV but Stuart Hughes’ new Rose PrestigeHD Supreme Edition is just crazier.
According to Stuart Hughes the 55-inch flat panel TV is the most expensive TV in the world with at price of 1,500,000 UK pounds ($2.27 million USD).

Most expensive TV

The current economic situation might not be the best time to release true luxury goods but Stuart Hughes doesn’t care. In their new line-up of flat panel TVs you’ll find two TVs including the world's most expensive TV.

The new PrestigeHD Supreme Rose Edition is cased with 28 kilograms of solid 18ct rose gold. The frame has been decorated with 72 1ct diamonds and Sunstone and Amethysts in between. The inner frame has been made from hand stitched alligator leather.

The PrestigeHD Supreme Rose Edition is 55 inches large and has a Full HD panel with LED backlight. Stuart Hughes has also found room for a 200/240 Hz technology as well as PIP (picture-in-picture). The controller electronics is provided by TV manufacturer Metz.

Want it? You can, but Stuart Hughes wants 1,500,000 UK pounds from your wallet, equivalent to 2,270,000 USD.

A cheaper alternative

Do you think the PrestigeHD Supreme Rose Edition is a bit too expensive you should go for the slightly cheaper PrestigeHD Supreme Edition.

The stand and frame has been made from 19 kg 22ct gold and the outer frame is decorated with 48 0.75ct diamonds, and Garnet and topaz for the remaining area. The rest of the frame has been hand stitched from alligator skin, too.

PrestigeHD Supreme Edition is a bargain at 1,000,000 UK pounds.
