Hi! I plan to buy an LG48C1 OLED TV. I wonder what your experiences with ABL are? How aggressive is he? How often do you light it? Does it light up even when the brightness is below 50? The TV would be used exclusively for watching programs. Cable TV, Netflix, HBO GO and stream series and movies. That "breathing" image bothers me a lot. I keep all the other options off because of that, but ABL can't be turned off, so I'm a little scared of that. Thanks

The LG C1 fits a very good compromise until OLED is developed further and really the only development they need is higher refresh rates and reducing burn-in, like Samsung's new QD-OLED tech, that reduces burn-in significantly and the MicroLED technology which is the same as OLED except non-organic and doesn't suffer burn-in at all. The only problem is thermals of the panels, and the ridiculous price due to extremely small yields.
