Samsung has released photos (via Korean news agency Yonhap) from a recent visit to Samsung Display by Samsung's vice chairman Jae-yong Lee. He is reportedly responsible for restarting Samsung's OLED TV project, now QD-OLED.

In the photos you see a prototype and it is not a QD-LCD - at least not a FALD model. It is too thin. So are we actually getting the first glimpse of Samsung's QD-OLED prototype here (TV in the middle)? (left is LG C9 and right is Samsung Q950TS).
