Why 24fps is not enough for HDR movies

I hope this is the right place to post this --

I noticed that Philips' Android TV's starting in 2020, and with a firmware upgrade can include DTS playfi capabilities. I am open to open to other manufacturers, but do not seem to google for any suppliers in the US.

Does anyone know what's up?
