Why 24fps is not enough for HDR movies

HELLO, I need help, i want to buy a television but I'm confuse between these two models PANASONIC TX-P50V20E or SONY 46HX800, i don´t know anything about technical details, I have a large room with lots of light, i want the TV to see movies mainly on DVD and BD, i want to play Playstation 3 also.
What's the best option among PANASONIC TX-P50V20E or SONY 46HX800 ?
