Sony was the market leader in 4K TVs last year, and they hope to retain the crown in 2014. Sony’s new 4K TVs are now available in stores in the US and Europe. X85 is an affordable 4K TV and X9 has powerful speakers.

New 4K TVs from Sony

Sony’s new 4K TVs are available from a 49-inch TV all the way up to an exclusive 85-inch model in the X95 range.

The X9 is another high-end 4K TV range with all of Sony’s latest 4K features, including HDMI 2.0 and HEVC. It also has Sony’s characteristic side-speaker design with even more powerful speakers than last year’s model. X9 is sold mostly through brick-and-mortar stores.

The X85 is an entry-level model with a basic design and Smart TV features. It also offers HDMI 2.0 and HEVC as well as the Triluminos color system like the more expensive models. X85 is available in 49, 55, and 65-inch models.
