Apple has confirmed that Killers of the Flower Moon will be available globally for streaming on Apple TV+ starting January 12, 2024. It premiered in the first theaters on October 19, 2023. 

So, 85 days.

This is the last piece of the puzzle to understanding Apple's movie strategy, which involves giving major titles a global theatrical premiere in partnership with one of the long-established Hollywood studios – Paramount, Universal or Sony Pictures.

'Napoleon' on February 16?
Unless there are different terms in the contract with Sony Pictures, we can expect Apple Studios' other big theatrical release, Napoleon, to arrive on Apple TV+ on February 16, 2024 – and possibly earlier on VOD (buy/rent), similar to Killers of the Flower Moon.

In 2024, Apple Studios is set to release Argylle, Wolfs and Project Artemis (title TBC) in theaters worldwide.

The 3-hour and 26-minute-long Killers of the Flower Moon is directed by Martin Scorsese, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, and Lily Gladstone in the lead roles. It is set in 1920s Oklahoma and depicts the serial murder of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation. It will be available for streaming on Apple TV+ in 4K Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
